Jennifer Aun is an engineer, innovator, and strategic leader with a distinguished career spanning defense, aerospace, IT services, and business consulting. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, with minors in Nuclear Energy and Physics, from New Mexico State University in 2016. A U.S. Army Reserves Veteran, she served six years as a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Non-Commissioned Officer, where she gained extensive experience in operational planning, crisis management, and defense strategy. Her military service laid the foundation for a transition into the Defense & Space industry, where she contributed to some of the most advanced missile and aerospace programs supporting national security.
Jennifer began her industry career at Raytheon Missile Systems, working as a Quality Assurance Engineer on missile guidance and navigation control (GNC) systems, optical seeker technology, and RF guidance systems. She later became a Value Stream Lead for one of Raytheon’s most successful product lines, the AMRAAM Air-to-Air Missile, ensuring operational efficiency and production excellence. She continued advancing in the aerospace sector at Northrop Grumman Space Systems, taking on roles as an Operations Test Engineer and later an Electrical (Analog) Design Engineer. As a Cognizant Design Engineer, she led Power Distribution Unit (PDU) and Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) design teams for high-profile space satellite systems, including NASA’s Landsat 9, the Joint Polar Satellite System (JPSS-2 & JPSS-3), and ESPAStar platforms.
One of her most notable career achievements was her work on NASA’s Landsat 9 satellite, where a power subsystem she helped design and test is currently operating efficiently in Low Earth Orbit (LEO). Her contributions were formally recognized with her name engraved on a plaque aboard the Landsat 9 satellite, solidifying her legacy in space exploration. Through this experience, she developed a passion for planning, modeling, simulating, and optimizing product designs, utilizing Agile Methodology and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Tableau, and SAP Business Warehouse to streamline complex aerospace projects. This expertise fueled her deep interest in Product Lifecycle Management, Systems Integration, and Continuous Improvement, allowing her to refine her ability to design and optimize mission-critical systems.
Building on her technical expertise, Jennifer transitioned into business strategy and consulting, working as an Independent Consultant for Civil Domain Consulting under U.S. Army Retired Brigadier General Ferdinand Irizarry. In this role, she led business development initiatives, strategic planning efforts, and U.S. government contract acquisition strategies for technology startups and defense contractors. Recognizing the need for high-quality, secure, and scalable IT and engineering solutions, she founded Stellar Quanta Labs in October 2024, where she serves as Founder and CEO.
At Stellar Quanta Labs, Jennifer leads a team dedicated to delivering cutting-edge IT services, engineering solutions, and strategic consulting that help businesses and government agencies navigate the complexities of modern technology and digital transformation. Her expertise extends beyond engineering and strategy—she is also skilled in branding, digital marketing, and audience engagement, having successfully launched and rebranded businesses, developed compelling storytelling content, and leveraged data analytics to optimize digital strategies. With multiple Meta certifications in advertising and marketing, she seamlessly integrates technical innovation with creative business growth, ensuring organizations remain competitive in a rapidly evolving digital world.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Jennifer is also a U.S. Army Military Spouse to her husband, Alexander Aun, an Active-Duty U.S. Army Special Forces NCO with 3rd Special Forces Group (3rd SFG). Her deep ties to the military community have further strengthened her dedication to mission-driven innovation, national security, and supporting those who serve.
Jennifer thrives on solving complex challenges, breaking barriers, and pushing the limits of what’s possible.
